  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 dry red chillies
  • 2 cups onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ¼ tsp clove powder
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 cup mutton chunks
  • ¼ cup curd
  • 1 cup soaked channa
  • Water as required
  • ¼ cup ghee
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ cup fried onions

Steps

  1. In a cooker add oil, bay leaves and dry red chilli.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and onions and saute well.
  3. Add powder spices and mix well.
  4. Add mutton chunks and saute well.
  5. Add other ingredients and mix well.
  6. Add channa to it and water.
  7. Pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  8. Open the lid add other ingredients.
  9. And cook for some more time.
  10. Garnish with fried onion and coriander leaves.
  11. Serve with paratha.
