• 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/3 cup walnuts.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt, or more to taste
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2tbsp oil
  • 2 cup chicken chunks
  • 1cup pesto sauce
  • 1/4th cup curd
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt according to taste
  • Oil for frying


  1. Place the basil leaves, mint leaves, nuts, garlic, salt, ground pepper, green chillies and oil in a blender and blend it well.
  2. Now add the chicken chunks, pesto paste, curd, amchur powder, garam masala, red chill powder and salt mix well, coating every single piece with the marinade.
  3. Let this sit for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  4. In a pan add a tbsp of oil and roast these chicken chunks on a low flame until they are slightly charred on the edges.
  5. Serve it with some onions and mint chutney.
