- 1 cup boiled channa dal
- 1 cup jaggery
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ghee
- ¼ tsp saffron
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- ⅛ tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 cup refined flour
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- salt to taste
- Water as required
- Ghee for roasting
Steps
- In a parat add all poli ingredients and make a semi-hard dough. And keep aside.
- In a kadai add channa dal and jaggery stir till jaggery melts.
- Add other ingredients in the jaggery mixture cook till it's dry.
- Grind it properly.
- Take a small dough roll out fill channa jaggery and stuff it properly and seal it.
- Roll a thick paratha.
- Roast on tawa and apply ghee.
- Serve with ghee channa usal.
