
Supplies
- Water as required.
- 2cups soaked rice
- 4 Bay leaf
- 3 Cinnamon Stick
- 10 Cardamoms
- 11 Cloves
- Salt
- 2tbsp Oil
- 5-6 boiled Potatoes
- 2tsp Red chili powder
- 2tbsp Ghee
- 1cup sliced onions
- 1tbsp green chilies
- 1cup chopped tomatoes
- 1tsp Turmeric powder
- 1tsp Garam masala
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 1cup Curd
- 2cups boiled Chana
- 2tbsp brista
- 1tsp mint leaves
Steps
- Add the required water to a pan.
- Add 2cups of soaked rice to the pan.
- Add 2 bay leaves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 5 cardamoms, and 6 cloves to boiling rice.
- Add salt as per taste.
- Strain the boiled rice into a bowl.
- Take a pan to add 1tbsp oil
- Add 5-6 boiled potatoes to the pan.
- Add 1tsp rec chili powder and salt as per taste stir well.
- Take a pressure cooker to add 1tbsp oil and 1tbsp ghee.
- Add 1 cinnamon stick, 5 cloves, 5 cardamoms, and 3 bay leaves. Stir well.
- Add 1cup sliced onions, 1tbsp green chilies, and 1cup chopped tomatoes
- Add 1tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp garam masala, 1tsp red chili powder, 1tsp coriander powder, and salt as per taste.
- Mix well.
- Add 1cup curd and 2cups boiled channa.
- Add 1st layer of boiled rice followed by 2nd layer of fired aloo and 1tbsp brista
- Add the last layer of rice with 1tbsp ghee and 1tbsp brista
- Add 1tsp of mint leaves for a minty flavor.
- Cook for 2-3 whistles
- Serve Hot!!!
