Dhaba Style Paneer Bhurji

This one is for paneer lovers.

Supplies

  • ● 200 grams malai paneer
  • ● 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ● 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • ● 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • ● 2 tbsp minced ginger
  • ● 1.5 cups finely chopped onions
  • ● 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • ● 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • ● 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ● 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • ● 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • ● 1 tsp kitchen king masala
  • ● 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • ● 1 tbsp besan
  • ● 1.5 cups finely chopped tomatoes
  • ● 3 green chillies finely chopped
  • ● 1 tsp salt
  • ● 1/2 cup water
  • ● 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
  • ● 2 tbsp cream
  • ● 2 tbsp mint leaves

Steps

  1. . Crumble the paneer and keep it aside
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, minced garlic and minced ginger.
  3. Saute for a few seconds. Add in the finely chopped onions. Saute on a medium
  4. flame for about 12-15 minutes until the onions are nice and brown.
  5. 3. Add in all the spice powders and saute for a minute on a low flame. Add in the
  6. besan and saute for a minute more on a low flame.
  7. 4. Add in the tomatoes and the green chillies.
  8. 5. Add in the salt and half a cup of water and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  9. 6. Add in the chopped coriander leaves and the shredded paneer. Add in the
  10. cream. Mix well and cook for a minute more.
  11. 7. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with roti.
