  • Potato mixture
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ¼ tsp hing
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp curry leaves
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Boiled potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Cheese sauce
  • ½ cup cream
  • Slice cheese 12 slices
  • Assemble for vada pav
  • 4 nos pav
  • Mint chutney
  • Garlic chutney
  • Crumbs
  • For batter
  • 2 cups besan
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Water as required
  • Oil for deep fry.

Steps

  1. In a pan add oil hing, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add ginger and garlic and saute for a min.
  2. Add turmeric powder. Saute some time.
  3. Add potatoes and salt and mix well. Cook for some time.
  4. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
  5. Let it cool for some time.
  6. On a double boiler add cream and cheese add stir till melted.
  7. Take potato mixture fill with cheese filling in it. And make a patty.
  8. In a bowl add all batter ingredients and make a thick batter.
  9. Heat the oil.
  10. Dip a patty in batter and deep fry till brown.
  11. Assemble vada pav and serve.
