  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups refined flour
  • 2 tbsp masala tea powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp oil for greasing
  • For garnish
  • Parle G biscuits
  • Masala tea
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Sugar powder

Steps

  1. In a bowl add butter and sugar and cream together.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla essence and whisk properly.
  3. Add all dry ingredients and mix by using the cut and fold method.
  4. Remove into a greased tray.
  5. Bake at 170°c for 35 minutes.
  6. Demold the cake
  7. Cover the cake with Parle G biscuits and pour masala tea on it.
  8. Dust with cinnamon and sugar.
  9. Serve.
