Sattu Chaas
- 2 tbsp barley sattu
- 1 ½ cup water
- 1 cup yoghurt
- 1 tsp ginger juice
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp fresh black pepper powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
Smoked chaas
- 1 cup yoghurt
- 3 tbsp mint leaves
- 3 tbsp coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tsp ginger, chopped
- ¼ tsp black salt
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water
- For tempering:
- 1 tsp oil or ghee
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp green chilli paste
- For smoke:
- 1 coal piece
- Few curry leaves
- 2 cloves
- 1 tsp oil
Pudina Chaas
- 1 inch piece Ginger Peeled
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2 cups Chopped Fresh Mint Leaves
- Crushed Ice cubes
- 2 cups Yogurt
Steps
Sattu Chaas
- Add all the ingredients in a blender and run till mixed well.
- Pour in tall glass and serve chilled.
Smoked chaas
- In a blender, combine yoghurt, mint leaves, coriander leaves, cumin powder, ginger, black salt, salt and blend well.
- Add two cups of water to the mix and blend well.
- Now heat the oil and add cumin seeds and green chilli paste. Sauté the mix for a few seconds.
- Add to the chaas and mix well.
- Now pour this chaas in a large bowl and take the heated coal in a small bowl and keep the bowl inside a larger bowl.
- In the small bowl, add curry leaves and clove and pour oil over the coal and cover with aluminium foil.
- Let it sit for five minutes. Remove and serve in a tall glass
Pudina Chaas
- Take a jar add ginger, add green chillies, add cumin powder, add chopped fresh mint leaves.
- Add lemon juice, crushed ice cubes add some water.
- Add yogurt to the mixture.
- Add salt, black salt.
- Grind the mixture again.
- Sieve the mixture and pour it into a glass to serve.
