Delhi restaurant, Diablo opens its doors in Mumbai with a contemporary take on modern gothic design

A first-of-its-kind restaurant, its a food enthusiasts delight and is the perfect spot to spend an evening with your S.O.

Designed by Bent Chair, the decor features a contemporary take on modern gothic design and subtly contrasts between beauty and beastiality. Don't forget to take a photo for the 'gram!

As you enter the restaurant you will be stunned by the amount of colour the room holds. The dramatic lighting with modern and vintage seating, demonic shapes and artwork fill the room with wonder.

The Middle-Eastern cuisine at Diablo will become your go-to place for unique drinks named after beasts. Try the 'Devil's Garden G&T', gin, tonic, elderflower cordial, citrus, rose and liquid nitrogen that gives it a mystical look.

The Domates salad looks like a colourful garden with Roma tomatoes, feta cheese, cured black olive crumble, garnished with edible flowers and basil oil.

Moving on to their 'From the chargrill' part of the menu, the Meygoo Souvlaki i.e king prawns served with dill tzatziki and ladolemono (lemon olive oil dressing) is packed with flavour.

The mezze platter comes with a selection of dips, paneer tikka, corn kebabs and a bread basket that includes the fluffiest pitta bread, lavash, sangak, Turkish balbon and taftan.

Founders Priyank Sukhija and Abhimanyu Jakhar share, "We've wanted to get the Diablo experience to one of our favourite cities for a while now. Serving an all-new middle eastern affair to our people will be a new thrill for us.

If you are a person that loves Gargoyles and gothic decor along with a palate for Mediterranean food, Diablo is the place for you!
