We are seeking a Lead Assistant Editor to join our growing team! The Lead Assistant Editor reports to Sandy Salas, Director of Post Production and works closely with the Post Production Supervisor, Post Coordinators, Senior Editor, Assistant Editors, and Media and Tech Lead to refine and enforce workflows, tackle content requests, and support project archive and media management. This person handles all of the shifting priorities of the day flexing between the ongoing daily requests that come through post across all areas of the department. This includes handling all footage transfer post support for projects shot in the US but being outsourced to Global TM location + third-party vendors for offline editing, color, and mix.

This role ensures that our content meets Tastemade brand standards by overseeing and supporting our daily workflow and ongoing best practices. The Lead AE implements project ingest and prep, oversees contingent AE work assignments, ensures that editors are following our best practices and QC specs, addresses notes when editors aren’t booked, tracks and supports media management, preps for color and mix, handles final deliveries, internal QC, and also tracks and archives projects.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • The Lead Assistant Editor handles project prep and setup for all brand projects. 
  • Addresses creative and QC notes.
  • Preps for online mix and color.
  • Prepares & QCs final deliverables.
  • Coordinates and implements project archiving across all Tastemade content.
  • Handles all extraneous daily requests that come through post production on a daily basis. 
  • Supports contingent AE project assignment and workflow.
  • Troubleshoots and supports our Adobe Productions workflow.
  • Supports our remote edit bay workflow. 
  • Monitors our server storage.
  • Supports Senior Editor with legacy content requests for Biz Dev deals.
  • Works on the catalog of new and existing legacy content to make more titles available for licensing.
  • The role works closely with our Post Manager and our Senior Editor to maintain consistency and best practices across all content types.
  • Fields all daily workflow requests and troubleshoots tech errors.
  • Tracks and log footage in CATDV.
  • Recommends and implements improvements for workflow and best practices.

What you’ll bring:

  • Must be above expert skill level in Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects experience
  • Must have basic NLE and computer troubleshooting skills
  • Have a strong understanding of video best-practices: file formats, codecs and their proper handling in a post-production workflow, as well as keep up with software updates and new products available to increase workflow efficiency
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high volume, deadline-driven environment, with strong written & verbal communication skills and experience coordinating a team of supporting editors and AEs. 
  • This position also works closely with our Post Media and Technology Lead on media management, system implementation, and tech workflow. 
  • This candidate should have strong technical and organizational skills with experienced knowledge of the Adobe suite of products, specifically Adobe Productions, Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder
  • Must be a collaborator with great communication skills
  • Project organization has to be a source of pride and not an afterthought
  • Knowledge of VidChecker, CrushFTP, and CatDV, a plus. 
  • Knowledge of Davinci Resolve, a plus.
  • Knowledge of ProTools, a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of AVID Media Composer, organization, and workflow setup, a plus.

What you’ll be doing:

The Line Producer, Bidding role will be responsible for being the lead point of contact for programs in the presale and development phase. They are the connection between ideation, bidding, and the execution owned by the physical production team. This is for content distributed on social media, primarily in short and medium form. We are looking for someone who is comfortable interfacing with a number of departments and stakeholders. Working closely with our Finance, Accounting, Sales, Brand Strategy, Legal, and People Ops teams. As needed this role will assist the physical production team with execution, but always will ensure the best possible hand-off for them to have a successful shoot.

  • Own and guide the development, writing, and presentation of production bids, proposals, and schedules for existing clients and potential new business
  • Build, maintain, and grow effective relationships with the sales team, ensuring that all client’s needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively and confidently with sales team on production and budgetary realities, in a solutions oriented approach
  • Bring a solid knowledge of current market rates across all departmental roles in video production. A great rolodex is a plus! We always love bringing in new people.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in various departments including Social Programming, Brand Strategy, Sales, and Client Partnerships to set the executional team up for success that satisfies both the partners and Tastemade’s guidelines
  • Partner closely with a Line Producer focused solely on execution, while managing the presale and early development phase of projects internally
  • Field requests for production pricing and timeline estimates for multiple opportunities each day, often due in 24 hours or less
  • Build out lined production budget estimates in great detail for hand-off to the executional Line Producer
  • Build out high level timelines and production calendars as campaigns get closer to greenlight to hand off to the executional teams prior to kick off.
  • While managing the internal development and presale phase on behalf of production, be prepared to shift into more of an executional role as needed to support in times of high-volume
  • Act as the voice of production in presale with all internal stakeholders to manage expectations, clearly communicating what is possible, and what is not
  • Help guide profit margins based on production costs sticking to company guidelines
  • Work closely with stakeholders on the Brand Strategy and Sales team to support with the formation of campaigns that are being pitched to clients
  • Assist the Brand Strategy and Sales team with solutions to production challenges they are facing
  • Work with department leadership to forecast, allocate, and shift resources as needed
  • Oversee production’s compliance with the internal Legal and People Ops teams
  • Design, rebuild, and implement a new internal facing menu of content offerings with standardized production pricing and guidelines
  • Review final campaign budget and create internal notes from the departments managing the campaign in order to build better pricing and process for future campaigns with the same brand or brands with similar deliverable needs.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for innovation and cost savings within our production model
  • Review and monitor views sheets, report any mistakes to sales and finance prior to signed contract

What you’ll bring:

  • 5 to 7+ years of relevant Production Management and/or Digital Media experience, for Broadcast and/or Digital.
  • Functional expertise in digital production management and financial reporting.
  • A strong track record managing a high volume of production budgets ranging from $20,000 - $1,000,000.
  • A steady hand in managing up to 10 - 15 projects at a time with complex asset lists and various deliverables for multiple platforms.
  • A mix of quantitative and qualitative perspectives with a growth mindset.
  • Analytical acumen to evaluate complex financial trends.
  • Cross-functional experience and the ability to work across disciplines, speak multiple professional languages, and translate needs into opportunities.

  • Provide strategic and tactical support to key accounts in partnership with Tastemade's Sales team
  • Support Account Executive counterparts on qualified sales calls and strategy sessions, as well as proposal presentations and pitches, to positively impact client relationships and create high caliber creative programming

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Help the Partner Experience Team achieve its goal as the best partner in the industry to work with and the best team in the industry to work on
  • Drive the creation of all branded projects from production kick off to delivery of final assets, taking on increasingly complex programs
  • Lead internal and external teams to develop and create content for all branded partnerships on time and of the highest quality
  • Serve as the point of contact for all brands and clients through the production process
  • Manage all production stages for multiple content partnership projects, across various categories
  • Use your best judgment to maintain the integrity of Tastemade content while being mindful of the delicate nature of client relationships
  • Partner with Production to provide direction and air cover throughout shoots and edits
  • Attend shoot days as necessary; both on and off-site, managing clients in person and virtually
  • Support CP with new processing to drive efficiency and client delight

What you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant project management or production experience; ad agency, branded content, and video experience is a major plus

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and programs aligned with the overall business strategy and department goals. 
  • Work closely with the Global Sales and Partner Experience teams as an advisor to Leadership and provide employee relations support across the org.
  • Advise and support employee training, employee development, probations, performance improvement plans and other related matters.
  • Understand employee opinions and experiences; provide a point of view and anticipate needs so we can address concerns proactively and focus on solutions to better the employee experience. 
  • Support global Policy management and rollouts. 
  • Support the overall business strategy by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes. 
  • Support or lead People projects including, but not limited to our OKRs, mentorship program, org planning, affinity group management, etc. 

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years of HR work experience 
  • Must have experience working on or supporting a sales organization or revenue driving team 
  • Comprehensive HR process, employment law, compensation, organizational development, employee relations, and training development.  Certifications are a plus. 
  •  Experience working with global teams is a plus
  • Excellent people management skills; ability to train, oversee, coach, and mentor remotely. Experience working in a leadership role is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, diligent, responsive, responsible, accountable, and resilient.

What you’ll be doing:

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Define high-level marketing strategy and consumer journey. Set clear, measurable objectives, identify specific audience targets and set positioning and engagement strategies for our four streaming channels: Food, Travel, Home and Español
  • Contribute to programming strategy to ensure we’re making the right content for the right people at the right time, working closely with the Head of Programming and GM
  • Collaborate with the Head of Content, Social, to create engaging social media campaigns leveraging organic and paid channels
  • Contribute to talent and casting strategy,  providing focus to the Talent team in their search for the on-camera casting that best speaks to our desired audience
  • Gather, analyze and apply relevant customer insights and data in collaboration with the Sr. Research Director to help define effective and innovative strategic marketing and programming approaches
  • Own the streaming marketing budget, translating strategies into detailed budget and resource plans, in close collaboration with the GM and Finance team
  • Create measurement framework that ties campaign performance to high level strategy, channel performance and financial results
  • Lead ideation and execution of highly creative campaigns that are on brand, on budget, and measurably successful
  • Write creative briefs and communicate campaign specifics across the company and to senior executives, with a focus on measurable results
  • Oversee creative development for campaigns,  including asset toolkits, trailers, promos, sizzle reels, key art, social content and more, optimizing existing workflows and developing new ones.
  • Build and foster a small, execution-focused team who can coordinate the successful delivery of campaigns and report on key metrics
  • Develop meaningful relationships with senior marketing leaders at key partner companies, including Samsung, Google, Amazon, Roku, Vizio, and more. Represent Tastemade as a thought  leader in marketing streaming channels.
  • Identify key marketing beats important to our partners, and ideate campaigns that leverage these moments to position Tastemade as a must-see destination for audiences on each platform
  • Create and continually update materials to be shared internally and externally telling the story of our channels, who our audience is, and why audiences want to watch us
  • Own relationships with any outside vendors, media agencies, creative partners.
  • Communicate campaign results and learnings to senior management and company-wide

What you’ll bring:

  • 7-10 years of partner marketing, consumer & B2B marketing, brand strategy and creative development, and campaign management experience at an entertainment network/studio, media company, or agency.
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to identify and prioritize key projects, identify challenges, develop action plans and execute. Excellent at navigating ambiguity and providing focus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of domestic and international television landscape, with a strong focus on FAST and vMVPDs and key players.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative campaign creative that drives a brand forward.
  • Operational acumen. Experience running marketing campaign workflows, prioritizing overlapping projects/requests, developing timelines and asset management workflows
  • Familiarity with structure of distribution licenses across linear TV, mobile, digital, OTT
  • Experience creating effective metrics and KPIs. Strong ability to analyze data and apply it to strategy and tactical planning.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Manage full scope HR support for Brazilian and Argentinian policies, procedures, practices, including but not limited to administration, compliance, employee and labor relations, safety and health, performance management, leadership advisement, full time and contingent workforce management, employee vacation/leave, office management and objectives specific to improving operational effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency and commitment to HR best practices and employment laws, and remain current on local employment laws and compliance in Brazil and Argentina 
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the employee experience
  • Write, review and update policies, guidance documents, tools, and employee-facing documentation in Spanish and Portuguese to ensure seamless translation of information across our global teams.  
  • Serve as a point of contact to team members, answering questions and helping employees navigate all aspects of People Operations in Brazil and Argentina, including topics such as, compensation, payroll, benefits, work/life, employee perks, company policies, etc.
  • Advise individuals and managers on employee relation activity such as probations, performance improvement plans, maternity/paternity leave, other business matters.
  • Understand employee opinions and experiences; provide a point of view and anticipate needs and address concerns proactively
  • Contribute to Latin America People Operations projects and initiatives with both culture and HR objectives in mind
  • Support diversity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility and other HR operational projects as identified for your designated teams.
  • Support the Head of People Operations as needed on daily tasks, special projects, administration and programs

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant HR experience in Brazil and Argentina markets
  • English, Spanish, and Portuguese written and verbal language skills a must
  • Experience in a startup environment a plus
